Frequently Asked Questions

Key information about our printing and packaging services.

1. Order FAQs

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ depends on the structure.

Folding cartons, paper bags, and labels often start around 500 pieces. Mailer boxes and rigid boxes are quoted by size and finish. Tell us the product and quantity and we will confirm the real minimum on the quote.

How can I request a quote?

Use the quote form on a product page, the contact page, or email us the size, quantity, material, and destination.

A sales person replies with a price and lead time, usually within one working day.

Can I order just one sample?

Yes, when you are moving toward a bulk order. We can make a pre-production sample so you can check size, print, and finish.

Sampling has a small extra charge and a short making time. Mass production starts after you approve it.

How long does it take to receive a quote?

After we have size, quantity, and artwork notes, a written quote is usually ready within 24 business hours.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel before we cut material or start printing.

Once production has started, the run cannot be cancelled because the boards and print are already made for your size.

Can I change the order quantity after placing the order?

Quantity can still change if the job has not entered production.

After printing or die-cutting starts, the quantity is locked. If something urgent comes up, contact us and we will see what is still possible.

Do you offer black-and-white or color printing?

We print full color (CMYK), one or two spot colors, or black only.

Standard quotes assume full-color print. Ask if you want a simpler one-color run — the price is quoted separately.

Do you offer assembly services?

For packaging orders we can:

  • Assemble boxes or bags
  • Place your product into the pack when you supply it
  • Check the loaded units before they ship
Do you charge extra for rush orders?

We do not add a rush fee by default.

Please tell us the deadline before you confirm, so we can check whether the press schedule can meet it. If we agree on a date, that date is the plan.

2. Artwork and Prepress

What is bleed and why does it matter?

Bleed is extra artwork past the cut line. Trimming can shift by a fraction of a millimeter, and bleed keeps the color from leaving a white edge.

For cartons, bags, labels, and flat print, extend backgrounds 3 mm (0.125") past each trim edge. Keep logos and text inside the safe area, away from the cut.

Why do I need a 3 mm bleed?

The 3 mm zone is the cutter’s margin. Without it, a small shift shows an unprinted strip. With it, the color still reaches the edge after the box or label is cut.

How do I add bleed to my files?

In Illustrator or InDesign, set the document bleed to 3 mm and extend backgrounds to that line. In Canva, turn on print bleed and export a print PDF.

If the file has no bleed, send the working file and we can extend simple backgrounds before proofing. Text still needs to sit inside the safe zone.

What file format do you need for printing?

A print-ready PDF at 300 dpi, with 3 mm bleed, is the usual file. Vector logos (AI, EPS, or PDF) are better for line work. You can also send the original file with fonts outlined and images linked.

What color mode should I use?

Export in CMYK. We print offset and digital in CMYK. An RGB file can be converted, but some bright screen colors will shift on paper.

Which CMYK profile should I use?

Japan Color 2001 Coated is a reliable coated-paper profile for our presses. If you do not have it, a standard coated CMYK export is acceptable and we will check the proof with you.

How can I send artwork files?

Send files by:

  • Email, when the file is small
  • A download link from WeTransfer, Google Drive, or Dropbox
How do I count pages for a booklet or insert?

One sheet has two sides, so it is two pages. A sheet folded in half is four pages. Page count for booklets and instruction inserts should be a multiple of four.

Can I design in Canva?

Yes. Turn on print bleed, keep important text away from the edge, and export PDF Print. CMYK is preferred. For boxes, a dieline from us is safer than a flat Canva layout alone.

Can you adjust my artwork?

If you send an editable file, we can fix simple issues: bleed, a logo placement, or a dieline fit. You still approve the final proof.

Do you provide design services?

For straightforward packs we can help with dieline setup, basic layout, and a print-ready export, including a couple of small revisions.

Full brand systems, custom illustration, or complex structural design are outside that help. We can work from files your designer supplies.

3. Production Process

How long does production take after I approve the proof?

Production starts after the deposit is in and you approve the PDF proof. Typical making times:

  • Labels, cards, and flyers: about 5–7 days
  • Folding cartons and paper bags: about 7–12 days
  • Mailer boxes: about 8–12 days
  • Rigid boxes: about 12–18 days

Shipping time is extra and depends on the destination.

How can I check quality before shipment?

Two options:

  • Photos or a short video of the finished goods, at no charge
  • A physical sample sent to you, with the courier fee added
Can I change the design after I place the order?

Yes, if production has not started. Work already done in prepress may be charged again.

After printing starts, the design cannot be changed on that run.

Can I see a proof before production?

Yes. We send a PDF proof, including the dieline for boxes and bags, and wait for your approval.

A printed physical sample is available for an extra making and shipping charge.

Will you reprint if there is a printing mistake?

If the error is ours, we reprint that run at no charge after we correct the file or the press setting.

If the error comes from the file or the instructions you supplied, a reprint is at your cost. We check files before printing so this is uncommon.

If my order is urgent, can you speed up production?

Tell us the date before you confirm the order. If the schedule allows, we move the job forward. We do not add a separate rush fee when that date is agreed in advance.

Can I receive production photos or videos?

Yes. We can send making or packing photos and a short video at no extra charge.

4. Packaging & Shipping

Are turnaround times guaranteed?

Once artwork, deposit, and proof approval are done, we commit to the production days on the quote. If we miss that making time for a reason on our side, we discuss a service credit on the order.

Transit time is an estimate. Customs, weather, and the carrier can change it after the goods leave our warehouse.

How do you pack the products for shipping?
  • Heavier orders are cartoned and loaded on pallets.
  • Lighter orders ship in export cartons without a pallet.
How do you protect goods from damage or moisture?
  1. Inner wrap or paper
  2. A moisture barrier bag when the route needs it
  3. Export cartons
  4. Pallet and stretch film for larger shipments
What shipping methods do you offer?

Air and sea:

  • Air by express courier for cartons
  • Sea for pallet loads, then local truck or courier after customs
Where do the products ship from?

Goods ship from our packing facility in China. The quote names the handover point for the service you choose.

Can I change the shipping method after placing an order?

Yes, before the cartons are handed to the forwarder. Contact us as soon as you decide.

Can you split one order to several addresses?

Yes. Tell us the split quantities and addresses before packing so each carton is labeled correctly.

Do you offer storage and later dispatch?

Short-term storage and a scheduled second shipment can be arranged. Ask before production so we reserve space.

Can you ship to a fulfillment center such as Amazon?

Yes. Share the FBA or warehouse label rules and we pack and mark the cartons to match them.

Can you ship to a P.O. box?

No. Express and freight shipments need a street address that can accept a carton or pallet.

5. Payment & Invoice

What are your payment terms?

The usual term is 50% to start production and 50% before shipment. Smaller orders are often paid in full up front so you are not paying two transfer fees.

What payment methods do you accept?
  • Bank transfer (T/T)
  • PayPal, with the platform fee shown on the invoice
  • Wise or a similar transfer service
Can I pay by credit card?

We do not take a card directly. You can pay by card through PayPal. The PayPal fee is listed on the invoice and is paid by the buyer.

Which currencies do you accept?

USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, and RMB. The quote states the currency.

Who pays import duty and tax?
  • EXW, FOB, and most courier shipments: duty and tax at destination are yours.
  • If we quote DDP, duty is included as stated on that quote. Local GST or VAT rules still follow the destination country.
How long until you receive the payment?
  • PayPal: usually the same day
  • Bank transfer: about 1–4 business days
  • Wise and similar services: about 1–3 business days
Can I get a refund if I cancel after paying?

If we have not started production and have not bought custom material, the deposit can be refunded.

If boards, plates, or printing have started, the refund is reviewed against the cost already spent.

6. After-Sales Support

What should I do if the order has not arrived?

We watch the shipment and send tracking when the carrier has it.

  • Air: a courier tracking number
  • Sea, pallets: bill of lading details after the balance is paid
  • Sea, then local delivery: a local tracking number after the port leg

If tracking stalls, write to us and we will follow up with the forwarder.

What if products arrive damaged?

Photograph the cartons and the goods within 3 days of delivery and email the photos.

We review the packing and the carrier record, then reprint or credit the affected quantity when the damage is confirmed.

What if the print quality is wrong?

If color, cutting, or structure is off because of our process, we reprint or refund that portion.

Please report it within 30 days of receipt and include photos. We may ask for a returned sample before we decide.

Can I return or exchange a custom order?

Custom print is made to your file, so we do not take returns for a change of mind.

Production defects reported within 30 days are handled by reprint, refund, or a partial credit. Return freight, if we ask for samples back, is agreed in that case.

Who do I contact for after-sales help?

Start with the person who handled your order. If there is no reply within two working days, email the address on this site and include the order number plus photos.

How long does an after-sales case take?

Most cases are answered within 3–7 business days. A carrier claim can take longer, and we update you while it is open.

7. Sustainability & Compliance

Can you help with product certifications?

We can introduce a third-party lab for tests such as material or toy-related certificates when your product needs them.

Lab fees are not inside the printing price. They depend on the test list.

Do you use eco-friendly materials?

On request we can run:

  • FSC-certified paper
  • Recycled paper stocks
  • Soy-based or low-VOC inks where the job allows
How does soy-based ink compare with conventional ink?
FeatureSoy-based inkConventional ink
BaseVegetable oilMineral oil
VOCLowerHigher

CostSlightly higherLower

Soy ink is the greener option when the paper and the press profile support it. We confirm which ink the quote uses.
